Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Denmark's Chris Nygaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Denmark's Theis Winther managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Uluç Berkman in the 3 minute of the game. In the 6th minute of the game Kenn Skou made a throw-in which Bertram Svenningsen played forward. Ersin Oğuzhan hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Denmark's Chris Nygaard couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for GÖZTEPE SK. The throw-in from Uluç Berkman in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Flores in the 13th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Orbay Samin rounded Denmark's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. In the 18th minute Vicente Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes GÖZTEPE SK got a freekick which was hit by Uluç Berkman. Mikkel Wulff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Utkan Ortaç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, GÖZTEPE SK's Vicente Flores dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 34thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GÖZTEPE SK's Utkan Ortaç was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Orbay Samin came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Vicente Flores capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Vicente Flores really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After 53 played minutes GÖZTEPE SK got a freekick which was hit by Iakovos Papadimas. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Utkan Ortaç made a huge save. Utkan Ortaç was a little too slow when Chris Nygaard got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 3-2. Obi Mikel's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Obi Mikel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to GÖZTEPE SK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Obi Mikel hit a great ball. Mathias Ludvigsen charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathias Ludvigsen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Mathias Ludvigsen got a free kick in the 64th minute. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Theis Winther hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertram Svenningsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Utkan Ortaç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Obi Mikel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. A collision led to GÖZTEPE SK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Obi Mikel hit a great ball. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Flores in the 91st minute of play. Vicente Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. The GÖZTEPE SK support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
