Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Pavel Bordeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inge Söderkvist. Jan-Ove Löfkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Germany booed when Sollentunavallens Hjältar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Ove Löfkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Pavel Bordeanu managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jan-Ove Löfkvist was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Albin Holweck charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest.
