Gordon Schmedemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Gines, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Club Almirante Brown's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Eckard Riemann scored to the left of an out of position Ermegildo Pacorro, making the score, 1-0. After 15 played minutes Club Almirante Brown got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Chale. In the 25th minute, Benedicto Chale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gordon Schmedemann was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A hard shot 28 in the game by Edmund Maiwald from a close distance when the talented Ermegildo Pacorro managed to make a qualified save. Club Almirante Brown's players were relieved. When Benedicto Chale fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Almirante Brown's protests and gave Benedicto Chale a yellow card for diving instead. Club Almirante Brown's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edmund Maiwald 34 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Gordon Schmedemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Gines in the 39th minute of the match. Gordon Schmedemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Rayman in the 41st minute of play. Benedicto Chale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gordon Schmedemann having to make a save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eckard Riemann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Eckard Riemann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Germania München fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After a rather tough play, Club Almirante Brown's Benedicto Chale got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Felix Gines shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Schmedemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Felix Gines came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Club Almirante Brown fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Gines couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the FC Germania München defense, Benedicto Chale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gordon Schmedemann. The FC Germania München fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gordon Schmedemann should have stopped the shot. In the 77th match minute, Club Almirante Brown was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Chale to maneuver through the defense.
