Aku Kaukomaa ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommi Sairanen hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Jari Welling hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th match minute, Palloketut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roni Kaitainen to maneuver through the defense. Ove Klemensson struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Aarne Pasoja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Idrottsklubben -03. 43 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Salkvist came free, but Aarne Pasoja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aarne Pasoja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fred Salkvist's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Flink in the 47th minute of play forced Palloketut's goalkeeper Aarne Pasoja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urmas Vuorinen to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Palloketut's Urmas Vuorinen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristian Törnqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Palloketut's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Staffan Hääger was slow to take the kick. During this time Idrottsklubben -03's players had a chance to rest. Staffan Hääger made a great header on Idrottsklubben -03's corner, it was just that Palloketut's Aarne Pasoja managed to reach the ball for a save. When Palloketut's Urmas Vuorinen in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aarne Pasoja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Salkvist in the 84th minute of the match. Aarne Pasoja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Flink in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the game Lucas Hääger made a throw-in which Ove Klemensson played forward. 93 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Salkvist came free, but Aarne Pasoja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Fred Salkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aarne Pasoja was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Idrottsklubben -03 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
