Kjell Åkesson started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Andırın SK's Türkeş Akşit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Wallander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 6th match minute, JKs Talanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yaser Pakel to maneuver through the defense. Walter Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 8th minute of the match. When Andırın SK's Türkeş Akşit in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Andırın SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 17 minutes into the match, Türkeş Akşit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Walter Wallander. JKs Talanger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Türkeş Akşit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Walter Wallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 19th minute of the match. When Andırın SK's Türkeş Akşit in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Türkeş Akşit might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Wallander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Türkeş Akşit ran back to his position shaking his head. Walter Wallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Türkeş Akşit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 24 minutes, Kjell Åkesson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JKs Talanger's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell Åkesson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walter Wallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tenyo Tikvanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Walter Wallander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Supreme Run made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Andırın SK's Gökçek Yavuzalp. JKs Talanger's Walter Wallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 40th minute of play. Rahim İskender's late challenge caught a JKs Talanger's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rahim İskender helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of JKs Talanger booed when Andırın SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rahim İskender didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhu Ao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christopher Kock, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. A collision led to JKs Talanger getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Edgar Davids hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, JKs Talanger's Zhu Ao threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christopher Kock, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Türkeş Akşit to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 61st minute of play forced JKs Talanger's goalkeeper Walter Wallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Türkeş Akşit came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Andırın SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Türkeş Akşit couldn't finish the play. Andırın SK's Olaf Jarosz was substituted for Cyprian Trochowski. Batıhan Saik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, JKs Talanger's Walter Wallander got control of the ball when Olaf Jarosz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, JKs Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Batıhan Saik came free, but Walter Wallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Wallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jozef Botto in the 85th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Christopher Kock made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Andırın SK's Zhu Ao tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kjell Åkesson took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zhu Ao. Zhu Ao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. A collision led to Andırın SK getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jozef Botto hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Andırın SK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
