Legia Warszawa were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after AFC PunisherS™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Qiu Yang took the corner. After taking down the ball on Legia Warszawa's corner Axel Lindberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lucian Crețulescu quite easily take care of the ball. 4 minutes into the match, AFC PunisherS™'s goal looked a bit too open when Karol Tomiczek came free, but Lucian Crețulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Leszek Podwojski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Legia Warszawa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lucian Crețulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Tomiczek in the 17th minute of the match. Lucian Crețulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leszek Podwojski's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After 18 minutes, Leszek Podwojski made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. AFC PunisherS™'s Lucian Crețulescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucian Crețulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Podwojski in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Legia Warszawa got a corner. AFC PunisherS™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Qiu Yang ran over to the corner to take the kick. 24 minutes into the match, Bernard Lemiesz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucian Crețulescu. AFC PunisherS™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernard Lemiesz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Leszek Podwojski took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucian Crețulescu. Lucian Crețulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. A collision led to AFC PunisherS™ getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Codrin Ignat hit a great ball. Lucian Crețulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karol Tomiczek went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Lucian Crețulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Tomiczek in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute Legia Warszawa were awarded a corner. Qiu Yang went to the cornerflag to take it. Codrin Ignat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zenon Pleban read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Legia Warszawa's Leszek Podwojski got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Codrin Ignat was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's Leszek Podwojski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucian Crețulescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 52 minutes into the game, Legia Warszawa's Lucian Mihăilă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucian Crețulescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. 55 minutes into the match, Leszek Podwojski notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of AFC PunisherS™'s Lucian Crețulescu. Lucian Crețulescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zenon Pleban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codrin Ignat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes AFC PunisherS™ got a freekick which was hit by Costin Ignătoiu. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC PunisherS™'s goalkeeper Lucian Crețulescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC PunisherS™'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Qiu Yang was slow to take the kick. During this time Legia Warszawa's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Qiu Yang almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AFC PunisherS™'s Lucian Crețulescu did a great save. 67 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's Axel Lindberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucian Crețulescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Karol Tomiczek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucian Mihăilă received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucian Crețulescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucian Mihăilă slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Ignat in the 76th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Zenon Pleban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Lindberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Lucian Crețulescu made a huge save. With a little luck, AFC PunisherS™'s Lucian Crețulescu got control of the ball when Leszek Podwojski tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Legia Warszawa booed when AFC PunisherS™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Conta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leszek Podwojski in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucian Crețulescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
