If Leszek Podwojski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 4th match minute, BK Södra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Wenerdahl to maneuver through the defense. BK Södra's Maximino Totakoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Podwojski in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Legia Warszawa getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bernard Lemiesz hit a great ball. Maximino Totakoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Podwojski, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Karol Tomiczek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Legia Warszawa's supporters rose to their feet, but Karol Tomiczek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Totakoxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Lindberg in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Totakoxe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Legia Warszawa were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after BK Södra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Qiu Yang took the corner. The corner ended in Qiu Yang almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BK Södra's Maximino Totakoxe did a great save. Leszek Podwojski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Totakoxe having to interfere. Maximino Totakoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leszek Podwojski in the 21st minute of play. Maximino Totakoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Tomiczek, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Maximino Totakoxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Podwojski in the 26th minute of the match. Maximino Totakoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Podwojski, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Leszek Podwojski might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximino Totakoxe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leszek Podwojski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute Karol Tomiczek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Totakoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Wenerdahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Zenon Pleban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Södra's goalkeeper Maximino Totakoxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Axel Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leszek Podwojski was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes BK Södra's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Qiu Yang who took care of the corner kick. Leszek Podwojski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Totakoxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Lemiesz in the 58th minute of play forced BK Södra's goalkeeper Maximino Totakoxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Legia Warszawa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Qiu Yang in the 60th minute. The supporters of BK Södra booed when Legia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, BK Södra's goalkeeper Maximino Totakoxe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Lindberg. After a rather tough play, BK Södra's Jonas Wenerdahl got a free kick in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, BK Södra's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Lemiesz came free, but Maximino Totakoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leszek Podwojski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Maximino Totakoxe made a huge save. If Axel Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zenon Pleban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Tzolis, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in BK Södra's zone, Karol Tomiczek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Totakoxe came out of the goal and Karol Tomiczek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 minutes BK Södra's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Qiu Yang who took care of the corner kick. Legia Warszawa's Qiu Yang was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maximino Totakoxe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Södra's goalkeeper Maximino Totakoxe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maximino Totakoxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Legia Warszawa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
