Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gavião Kyikatejê's Miguel Zuasnabar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Zuasnabar in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zenon Pleban saved Legia Warszawa from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Axel Lindberg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sitthachat Jampeehom. 14 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Tomiczek came free, but Sitthachat Jampeehom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's Miguel Zuasnabar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zenon Pleban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Podwojski came free, but Sitthachat Jampeehom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Tomiczek in the 19th minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Sitthachat Jampeehom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Zenon Pleban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Legia Warszawa's zone, Rodney Lindov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zenon Pleban came out of the goal and Rodney Lindov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Legia Warszawa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Archie Brodie was slow to take the kick. During this time Gavião Kyikatejê's players had a chance to rest. If Rodney Lindov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodney Lindov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Legia Warszawa defense, Miguel Zuasnabar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zenon Pleban. The Legia Warszawa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zenon Pleban should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Zuasnabar got free with Zenon Pleban in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 45 minutes, Karol Tomiczek made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Leszek Podwojski made the kick off in the second half. Leszek Podwojski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Sitthachat Jampeehom made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Legia Warszawa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gavião Kyikatejê:s goal. The corner ended in Archie Brodie almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Legia Warszawa's Zenon Pleban did a great save. A nice corner shot did that Rodney Lindov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zenon Pleban quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Gavião Kyikatejê getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Grant McPhedron hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes, Legia Warszawa's Qiu Yang shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sitthachat Jampeehom came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Legia Warszawa reached it. In the 73rd match minute, Legia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislaw Basinski to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Sitthachat Jampeehom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Zenon Pleban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Legia Warszawa's Leszek Podwojski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After 86 played minutes Legia Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Axel Lindberg. After a rather tough play, Gavião Kyikatejê's Miguel Zuasnabar got a free kick in the 95th minute. Sitthachat Jampeehom came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Legia Warszawa's Leszek Podwojski. But to his dismay, Leszek Podwojski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Legia Warszawa's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
