After taking down the ball on Boquenses's corner Nicolas Sancho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zenon Pleban quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Gabino got free with Zenon Pleban in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Lindberg during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Legia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Lindberg to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Zenon Pleban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand. In the 23rd match minute, Boquenses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimiro Vincent to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Boquenses's Nicolas Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zenon Pleban. Zenon Pleban yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 31 minutes into the game, Boquenses's Nunez Gabino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zenon Pleban made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Zenon Pleban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenon Pleban having to interfere. Zenon Pleban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Tirso in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Leszek Podwojski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Legia Warszawa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boquenses the free kick. Boquenses's Nicolas Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Sancho was the one to do the kick off. Zenon Pleban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Gabino in the 51st minute of play. Zenon Pleban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Sancho in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 63rdth minute of the game Nicolas Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Legia Warszawa's Zenon Pleban was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zenon Pleban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boquenses were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Legia Warszawa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nicolas Sancho took the corner. The corner ended in Rodrigo Ferdinand almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Legia Warszawa's Zenon Pleban did a great save. 70 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Ferdinand came free, but Zenon Pleban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Legia Warszawa's Zenon Pleban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 73rd minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Legia Warszawa getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Karol Tomiczek hit a great ball. Zenon Pleban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Ferdinand in the 94th minute of the match. Zenon Pleban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Boquenses fans cheered their team off the field, for while Legia Warszawa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
