Mariusz Gardocki hit a great ball. Greger Myr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Kieca in the 21st minute of play. If Edgar Barniszke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Chesus scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Greger Myr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Griffins booed when Tre Starka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sundström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greger Myr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateusz Nalaskowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarl Waller to strike the kick off in the second half. Greger Myr took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Chesus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Griffins's Edgar Barniszke got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute of the match, Miguel Chesus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Greger Myr saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stanislaw Kuszczak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The Tre Starka fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Tre Starka's Jarl Waller looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Griffins played a much better game than Tre Starka and deserved their victory. The Tre Starka players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
