Rodrigo Ferdinand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasco Calheiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Ferdinand took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Castilho. Mauro Castilho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. São Francisco FC86's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Rodrigo Ferdinand scored to the left of an out of position Mauro Castilho, making the score, 1-9. In the 86th minute, Gregorio Tirso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Castilho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-10. 93 minutes into the match, Gregorio Tirso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Castilho. São Francisco FC86's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregorio Tirso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-11. The supporters of São Francisco FC86 booed when Boquenses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Salvadore didn't get a good kick on the ball.
