Griffins's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicolas Sancho ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Severino Rey got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stanislaw Kuszczak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A hard shot 9 in the game by Edgar Barniszke from a close distance when the talented Tobias Osoro managed to make a qualified save. Boquenses's players were relieved. Tobias Osoro made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Mikolaj Miarka sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the match, Griffins's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Sancho came free, but Stanislaw Kuszczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Griffins's goalkeeper Stanislaw Kuszczak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boquenses's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicolas Sancho in the 15th minute. The corner led to Boquenses's Wilfredo Salvadore getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Stanislaw Kuszczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Sancho in the 19th minute of the match. Stanislaw Kuszczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Sancho in the 21st minute of play. Stanislaw Kuszczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Tirso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boquenses's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicolas Sancho in the 24th minute. The corner led to Boquenses's Severino Rey getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 24 minutes, Severino Rey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boquenses and the Griffins players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Rodrigo Ferdinand put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Stanislaw Kuszczak. After 33 minutes of play, Boquenses's Rodrigo Ferdinand made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stanislaw Kuszczak was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Boquenses's Tobias Osoro got control of the ball when Kazimierz Kieca tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Sancho in the 37th minute of play forced Griffins's goalkeeper Stanislaw Kuszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Mikolaj Miarka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Sancho to make the kick off. After having played for 66 minutes, Nicolas Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boquenses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stanislaw Kuszczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Sancho in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Boquenses were awarded a corner. Nicolas Sancho went to the cornerflag to take it. Nicolas Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Stanislaw Kuszczak made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Nicolas Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Stanislaw Kuszczak. Griffins's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Boquenses's Nunez Gabino was substituted for Rômulo de Lima. With a little luck, Griffins's Stanislaw Kuszczak got control of the ball when Feliciano Pancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Griffins's Stanislaw Kuszczak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Griffins from getting a goal against them.
