Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Croatia's Toni Mauzer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Georgian F.C.'s Arsen Kobiashvili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ilija Skugor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Bidzina Sulakvidze came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Mauzer in the 6th minute of play forced Georgian F.C.'s goalkeeper Mark Ee to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Georgian F.C.'s Valeri Levidze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Dinko Stankovic charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dinko Stankovic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dinko Stankovic hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Arsen Kobiashvili dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ilija Skugor, 3-0. Croatia's Ilija Skugor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bidzina Sulakvidze in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Bidzina Sulakvidze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Ee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toni Mauzer went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the match, Croatia's Dinko Stankovic sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mark Ee narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Croatia's Eduard Kostelac got a free kick in the 36th minute. The audience was convinced that Arsen Kobiashvili's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ilija Skugor was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Damir Pongrac hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Martin Bosak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mark Ee was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Toni Mauzer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes Georgian F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mindia Paghava. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsen Kobiashvili stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bidzina Sulakvidze, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Eduard Kostelac kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Benjamin Domazet lost his temper 57 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 62nd minute Arsen Kobiashvili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilija Skugor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arsen Kobiashvili took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ilija Skugor. Ilija Skugor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. 69 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Bidzina Sulakvidze came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Croatia got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Terzic. Georgian F.C.'s Arsen Kobiashvili got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sabir Pulishvili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ilija Skugor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Croatia defense, Arsen Kobiashvili kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot. If Bidzina Sulakvidze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Arsen Kobiashvili came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damir Pongrac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd match minute, Georgian F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeri Levidze to maneuver through the defense. Mark Ee made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinko Stankovic in the 94th minute. Georgian F.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
