Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Lech Max's Jan Gacki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lech Max's Gwidon Dubilas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Lech Max from getting a goal against them. After 10th play minutes Jan Gacki shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Yahia van der Saar and just under the crossbar into goal. Gwidon Dubilas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akakios Trachanas in the 13th minute of play. Yahia van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Gacki in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akakios Trachanas in the 17th minute of play forced Lech Max's goalkeeper Gwidon Dubilas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sheriff's Yahia van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Skaradowski in the 18th minute of play. Jan Gacki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yahia van der Saar having to make a save. In the 23rd minute Jan Gacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahia van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Krzysztof Bycofski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lech Max's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sheriff the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Lech Max was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krzysztof Bycofski to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Lech Max's goal looked a bit too open when Akakios Trachanas came free, but Gwidon Dubilas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akakios Trachanas in the 26th minute of play forced Lech Max's goalkeeper Gwidon Dubilas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Akakios Trachanas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gwidon Dubilas. The goal made the score 1-1. With a little luck, Lech Max's Gwidon Dubilas got control of the ball when Damaso Xacintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute of the match Lech Max got a corner. Sheriff's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Norbert Kolacki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Lech Max's Norbert Kolacki to fire away a dangerous shot which Yahia van der Saar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sheriff's Yahia van der Saar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Gacki in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Lech Max's goalkeeper Gwidon Dubilas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damaso Xacintu. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, Lech Max's goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Gol came free, but Gwidon Dubilas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Yahia van der Saar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gwidon Dubilas came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheriff's Akakios Trachanas. But to his dismay, Akakios Trachanas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Sheriff made a substitution. Kutay Erbaş replaced Akakios Trachanas. In the 64th minute Giannis Polizos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Dubilas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yahia van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Skaradowski in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Jan Gacki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yahia van der Saar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gwidon Dubilas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clayton Gol in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Lech Max was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Rogel to maneuver through the defense. Lech Max's Gwidon Dubilas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Polizos in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Lech Max's goal looked a bit too open when Clayton Gol came free, but Gwidon Dubilas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lech Max's Ralph Dolby quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Notis Filippas, made in the 78th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Skaradowski in the 80th minute of play forced Sheriff's goalkeeper Yahia van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yahia van der Saar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Gacki in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Sheriff's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Gacki came free, but Yahia van der Saar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lech Max's Kapaneus Panayiotopoulos got a free kick in the 96th minute. Sheriff's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
