Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janes Van Huruck having to interfere. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Gary Mead mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hythe United Rangers and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Gary Mead hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tosh Higginson in the 23rd minute of play. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lance Eyre in the 25th minute. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tosh Higginson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Tosh Higginson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Janes Van Huruck was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Lance Eyre could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Ollie Paterson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tosh Higginson in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tosh Higginson was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tosh Higginson in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Janes Van Huruck in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tosh Higginson in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janes Van Huruck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Tosh Higginson came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tosh Higginson in the 66th minute of play. Janes Van Huruck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tosh Higginson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tosh Higginson struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hythe United Rangers. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zak Crocker in the 79th minute of play. Hythe United Rangers's Damien Letheren got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Tosh Higginson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Gary Mead hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
