In the 32ndth minute of the game Ximenez Sariego who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Griffins's Zachariasz Mondrowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Sociedad Anónima's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Sawicki came free, but Matxin Uceda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guib Gonzalo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Griffins getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Iwan Rakiewicz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josepe Camarero in the 39th minute of play forced Griffins's goalkeeper Zachariasz Mondrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Mazorra to make the kick off. If Przemyslaw Domin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kryspin Cipinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Matxin Uceda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zachariasz Mondrowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximenez Sariego in the 67th minute of the match. Remigiusz Domin's late challenge caught a Sociedad Anónima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the Griffins defense, Nuno Mazorra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zachariasz Mondrowski. The Griffins fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachariasz Mondrowski should have stopped the shot. After 79 played minutes Griffins got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Tscherner. In the 80th match minute, Griffins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleksander Tscherner to maneuver through the defense. If Nuno Mazorra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ubarna Huertas came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Sociedad Anónima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubarna Huertas couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Sociedad Anónima's zone, Roman Sawicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matxin Uceda came out of the goal and Roman Sawicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Sociedad Anónima's Medardo Arena got a free kick in the 91st minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sociedad Anónima walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
