Arto Karalahti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Palloketut booed when RCD CARABANCHEL SAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Otoniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Arto Karalahti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palloketut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RCD CARABANCHEL SAD the free kick. During the 31st minute of the match Arto Karalahti completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Arto Karalahti a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 32 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Arto Karalahti. Filomeno Eleazars short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Jimi Nyrhinen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 36th minute, Rami Lehto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cipriano Mateus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rami Lehto during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Palloketut getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Rami Lehto hit a great ball. In the 46th minute Rami Lehto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Palloketut were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rami Lehto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Cipriano Mateus made a huge save. A collision led to RCD CARABANCHEL SAD getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Guido Chuse hit a great ball. A collision led to Palloketut getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Teemu Valkealahti hit a great ball. Roni Kaitainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Mateus having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rami Lehto in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cipriano Mateus saved RCD CARABANCHEL SAD from getting behind. A hard shot 77 in the game by Rami Lehto from a close distance when the talented Cipriano Mateus managed to make a qualified save. RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's players were relieved. Cipriano Mateus made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Iikka Heinola sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rami Lehto was slow to take the kick. During this time Palloketut's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Palloketut's corner Rami Lehto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cipriano Mateus quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's Luisito Baraquiel got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 89 played minutes Palloketut got a freekick which was hit by Iikka Heinola. When Teemu Valkealahti fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palloketut's protests and gave Teemu Valkealahti a yellow card for diving instead. Teemu Valkealahti kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The Palloketut supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Palloketut would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
