Jimi Nyrhinen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inácio Silveira went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Iikka Heinola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remo Peres made a kick off. Jimi Nyrhinen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Remo Peres went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 57th play minutes Remo Peres shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Jimi Nyrhinen and just under the crossbar into goal. 60 minutes into the game, Aarre Lajunen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palloketut's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E. C. Flamengo Paraibano the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aarre Lajunen in the 65th minute of play forced E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalkeeper Hélio Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eevert Hati during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
