Zachariasz Mondrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Lucas in the 11th minute of play. Zachariasz Mondrowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamílton Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Griffins's Zachariasz Mondrowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Griffins from getting a goal against them. The supporters of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano booed when Griffins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Domin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamílton Tandes short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Zachariasz Mondrowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rony Lucas got free with Zachariasz Mondrowski in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 35 played minutes E. C. Flamengo Paraibano got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Sampaio. Zachariasz Mondrowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Roman Sawicki hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Zachariasz Mondrowski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eugênio Pires. Zachariasz Mondrowski came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Rony Lucas. But to his dismay, Rony Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Tande in the 57th minute of play forced Griffins's goalkeeper Zachariasz Mondrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rony Lucas took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zachariasz Mondrowski. Zachariasz Mondrowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Barreto in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zachariasz Mondrowski saved Griffins from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Hamílton Tande's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zachariasz Mondrowski was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the game, E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Walmir Sampaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zachariasz Mondrowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Zachariasz Mondrowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton Tande in the 75th minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Griffins got a freekick which was hit by Roman Sawicki. After 81 played minutes E. C. Flamengo Paraibano got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Sampaio. Hélio Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Przemyslaw Domin in the 89th minute of play. Przemyslaw Domin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélio Guimarães having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Roman Sawicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
