That was the end of his participation in the match. After 18 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Kyle Cox. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Storm Furu in the 21st minute of play. Håvard Skramstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micah Macdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Kirkenær BF booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Willis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarle Mortensen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Khalid Kennedy. England's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. He was immediately shown a red card. Håvard Skramstad had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Micah Macdonald's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Khalid Kennedy made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Frank Alver sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Micah Macdonald hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Alver got free with Khalid Kennedy in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 65th minute Frank Alver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
