The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Dalimil Charvat a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Dalimil Charvat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Tomás Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albiceleste F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Avellaneda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vavrinec Holub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute Tomás Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Jilek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Reynaldo Maria fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albiceleste F.C.'s protests and gave Reynaldo Maria a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Tomás Avellaneda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. Tomás Avellaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Albiceleste F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Mambru to maneuver through the defense. Vavrinec Holub didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Avellaneda went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Tomás Avellaneda put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vavrinec Holub. 89 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Albiceleste F.C.'s Tomás Avellaneda fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 94th minute Albiceleste F.C. were awarded a corner. Cosme Justin went to the cornerflag to take it. David Rusil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Artizar having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Albiceleste F.C. fully deserved thier win.
