Gösta Söderberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Oliver Dovina when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 7th minute of the match KANONIERZY got a corner. Astral Roots Gdynia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ime Mavros ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 8 minutes, Gösta Söderberg made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Astral Roots Gdynia's Oliver Dovina tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Astral Roots Gdynia's Oliver Dovina got control of the ball when Gösta Söderberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of KANONIERZY booed when Astral Roots Gdynia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sylwester Hajduk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match, Gösta Söderberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Oliver Dovina was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Christian Abbiati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Wolczewski in the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gösta Söderberg got free with Oliver Dovina in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Oliver Dovina managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when KANONIERZY's Gösta Söderberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind KANONIERZY's goalkeeper Christian Abbiati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oliver Dovina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute KANONIERZY were awarded a corner. Ime Mavros went to the cornerflag to take it. Oliver Dovina came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by KANONIERZY's Ime Mavros. But to his dismay, Ime Mavros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gösta Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Dovina having to interfere. Astral Roots Gdynia's Oliver Dovina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Astral Roots Gdynia from getting a goal against them. Oliver Dovina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gösta Söderberg's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After 45 played minutes Astral Roots Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Rutecki. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The corner went over the outstretched arms of Astral Roots Gdynia's goalie and right to Marian Sobania. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Astral Roots Gdynia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Oliver Dovina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gösta Söderberg went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Christian Abbiati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfred Wolczewski in the 77th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Gösta Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Dovina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliver Dovina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Söderberg in the 82nd minute of play. Gösta Söderberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Dovina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gösta Söderberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Oliver Dovina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86th play minutes Gösta Söderberg shot 9-0, a short shot which went by Oliver Dovina and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 91st minute, Gösta Söderberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Astral Roots Gdynia booed when KANONIERZY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Hamza Hanefi didn't get a good kick on the ball. KANONIERZY walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
