In the 9th minute, Shymkent Camels's Vladimir Kugotov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Vladimir Kugotov took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Khalid Kennedy to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Kugotov in the 16th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiang Cheng Peng in the 22nd minute of play. In the 28th minute, Ayrton Schumacher left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shymkent Camels fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The supporters of England booed when Shymkent Camels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erast Volkonskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyle Cox struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Horacio Zarricueta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. Shymkent Camels's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Issac Dawson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Sebastian Milla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Khalid Kennedy made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Milla got free with Khalid Kennedy in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 minutes England's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boris Lindqvist who took care of the corner kick. Arseniy Filosofov made a great header on Shymkent Camels's corner, it was just that England's Khalid Kennedy managed to reach the ball for a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kyle Cox to strike the kick off in the second half.
