The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeusz Rudy got free with Arnout Reekers in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waldemar Radzyminski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Netherlands fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! Arnout Reekers had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Ingvar Lund's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bas Tuitert lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Netherlands:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Seniorita Varga:s goal. Ingvar Lund placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Meesters during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Rudy in the 46th minute of play. Tadeusz Rudy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Arnout Reekers when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lukasz Hatman to make the kick off. When Lars Meesters came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Meesters couldn't finish the play. Hieronim Kojder hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Waldemar Radzyminski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Rudy, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Waldemar Radzyminski was a little too slow when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-3. If Lukasz Hatman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ziemowit Osikowicz took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Waldemar Radzyminski however easily saved by the left post. Bjørn Solbakk's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bjørn Solbakk helped the player get up and apologised. Bjørn Solbakk hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Waldemar Radzyminski could save by the left post. In the 86th minute, Tadeusz Rudy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seniorita Varga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After 88 played minutes Seniorita Varga got a freekick which was hit by Alan Banan. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Waldemar Radzyminski made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
