In the 87th minute, Galo do Cerrado's Evelio Peli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hendrik van Eijnde. Hendrik van Eijnde yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Hendrik van Eijnde came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Galo do Cerrado's Jean-Yves Amand. But to his dismay, Jean-Yves Amand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Galo do Cerrado's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
