After some careless play in the Chuba Chubba Akpom defense, Venancio Ascencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Nordström. The Chuba Chubba Akpom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Nordström should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Chuba Chubba Akpom getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Eddie Ivarsson hit a great ball. Mats Nordström made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Jacinto Rosio sent off a good shot on target. Vito Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakarias Ahlström in the 14th minute of the match. Vito Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sakarias Ahlström went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Jacinto Rosio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Erland Örtlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Saturnino Abeitia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mats Nordström. That made the score 2-1 in the 27 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Ascencio in the 29th minute of play forced Chuba Chubba Akpom's goalkeeper Mats Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes of play, Liberland's Venancio Ascencio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mats Nordström was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esbjörn Dalström made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Liberland's Francisco Ixaka got a free kick in the 55th minute. Mats Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the game, Adrian Snäll was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chuba Chubba Akpom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liberland the free kick. A collision led to Chuba Chubba Akpom getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Adrian Snäll hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Venancio Ascencio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mats Nordström. Chuba Chubba Akpom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Venancio Ascencio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 70th minute Venancio Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mats Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chuba Chubba Akpom getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Conny Nilsson hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Jacinto Rosio made a precise shot to the right of Mats Nordström. Chuba Chubba Akpom's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Mats Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Rosio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sakarias Ahlström came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Chuba Chubba Akpom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sakarias Ahlström couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Liberland fully deserved thier win.
