Omar Cristofol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Larrategui in the 33rd minute of the match. Denis Eudoxio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The supporters of Hincha Pelotas FC booed when RÚSTICOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Vachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Omar Cristofol showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Hincha Pelotas FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Candelario Cortina hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ismael Larrategui made the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute Jaime Telo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik van Eijnde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, RÚSTICOS F.C's Jaime Telo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hendrik van Eijnde. Hendrik van Eijnde yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Hincha Pelotas FC's Hendrik van Eijnde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Hincha Pelotas FC from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute, RÚSTICOS F.C's Therkil Bjørslev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. RÚSTICOS F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
