In the 3rd minute, Voitto Nyrhinen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mats Nordström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mats Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romelu Lukaku, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Palloketut fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Palloketut's Romelu Lukaku looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Romelu Lukaku blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mats Nordström having to make a save. Mats Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romelu Lukaku in the 18th minute of the match. Mats Nordström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romelu Lukaku's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Esbjörn Dalström struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Yan Chong Sen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chuba Chubba Akpom. When Niklas Fribäck fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chuba Chubba Akpom's protests and gave Niklas Fribäck a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 24 minutes, Tommi Kangasmäki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palloketut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommi Kangasmäki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Chuba Chubba Akpom's goal looked a bit too open when Rikhard Elomo came free, but Mats Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Palloketut's Romelu Lukaku made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mats Nordström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romelu Lukaku blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mats Nordström having to make a save. After 39 minutes of play, Palloketut's Romelu Lukaku made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mats Nordström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd minute of the game Niklas Fribäck made a throw-in which Bengt-Rune Wållander played forward. In the 47thth minute of the game Voitto Nyrhinen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chuba Chubba Akpom's Mats Nordström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esbjörn Dalström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Palloketut's goal looked a bit too open when Sakarias Ahlström came free, but Yan Chong Sen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Romelu Lukaku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Romelu Lukaku put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Mats Nordström. Mats Nordström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romelu Lukaku went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 65 minutes into the match, Romelu Lukaku dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mats Nordström, 0-7. In the 69th minute, Palloketut's Voitto Nyrhinen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mats Nordström. Mats Nordström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Romelu Lukaku could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Mats Nordström made a huge save. In the 78th match minute, Chuba Chubba Akpom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Örtlund to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Snäll kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. With a little luck, Chuba Chubba Akpom's Mats Nordström got control of the ball when Romelu Lukaku tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Romelu Lukaku came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Palloketut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romelu Lukaku couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute of the game Ali Ruohiainen made a throw-in which Heino Helkamo played forward. Palloketut played a much better game than Chuba Chubba Akpom and deserved their victory. The Chuba Chubba Akpom players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
