The supporters of Original Sabahan booed when RÚSTICOS F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Therkil Bjørslev didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Penn Cornelius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Cristofol having to interfere. Widodo Reza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Danekjær, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 83 minutes, Penn Cornelius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Original Sabahan and the RÚSTICOS F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see RÚSTICOS F.C lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
