In the 3rd minute, Aulë Vala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, William Rigg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Olsen. Haymakers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Rigg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Robin Olsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Rigg went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that William Rigg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin Olsen was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Haymakers FC's Robin Olsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Rigg in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Manwë Vala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Olsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Olsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Rigg in the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute William Rigg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Olsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Sven-Olof Blomkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haymakers FC and the The Valar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Haymakers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Olof Blomkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute William Rigg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Olsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Haymakers FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Valar were winning 0-3.
The wind increased when William Rigg made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Alfred Hajto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Olsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haymakers FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when William Rigg scored to the left of an out of position Robin Olsen, making the score, 0-4. If Manwë Vala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Rigg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robin Olsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Rigg in the 65th minute of the match. William Rigg kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Rigg in the 71st minute of play forced Haymakers FC's goalkeeper Robin Olsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jim Håkansson in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emmanuel Canturri saved The Valar from getting behind. William Rigg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Robin Olsen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 79 minutes, Manwë Vala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Valar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manwë Vala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Haymakers FC's Sven-Olof Mogren got a free kick in the 86th minute. Lennart Kjellbom's late challenge caught a The Valar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lennart Kjellbom helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th minute, Lennart Kjellbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred Hajto struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Robin Olsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Valar. William Rigg charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed William Rigg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. William Rigg hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 96th play minutes William Rigg shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Robin Olsen and just under the crossbar into goal. The Valar played a much better game than Haymakers FC and deserved their victory. The Haymakers FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
