Jacinto Rosio started the match with the kick off. Vito Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Rigg in the 3rd minute of the match. William Rigg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vito Rezende having to make a save. Vito Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Rigg's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After 14 played minutes The Valar got a freekick which was hit by Aulë Vala. When Liberland's Jacinto Rosio in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye The Valar's goalie prevented a goal. If William Rigg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vito Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Rigg in the 22nd minute. William Rigg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. William Rigg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Rezende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Elias Mambru in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Liberland's Enrique Nikola. Emmanuel Canturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Rosio in the 31st minute of play. If William Rigg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Liberland's Vito Rezende got control of the ball when William Rigg tried to sneak it across the goal line. If William Rigg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vito Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Rigg in the 35th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Rigg got free with Vito Rezende in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Ozon struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Vito Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Valar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. William Rigg was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Cristian Ozon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55thth minute of the game William Rigg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liberland's Vito Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aulë Vala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Vito Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Liberland's zone, Aulë Vala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vito Rezende came out of the goal and Aulë Vala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Liberland's goal looked a bit too open when William Rigg came free, but Vito Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Hajto kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Manwë Vala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69thth minute of the game William Rigg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liberland's Vito Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. William Rigg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vito Rezende having to make a save. Vito Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Rigg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vito Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Rigg, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If William Rigg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th minute, Enrique Nikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Enrique Nikola in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by The Valar's Alfred Hajto. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, William Rigg managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Valar's supporters rose to their feet, but William Rigg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, The Valar failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
