With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amancio Videl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Bruno Moneda sped through Berni y Benja FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amancio Videl. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adrio Sobrido in the 28th minute. A nice corner shot did that Adrio Sobrido got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amancio Videl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the game, Atilano Goiz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Amar Bouziane quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tristan Franquis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Indalecio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 39th minute Eulalio Indalecio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Franquis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tristan Franquis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Sanson in the 46th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Adrio Sobrido hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Amancio Videl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liu Liang Gang, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Amar Bouziane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atilano Goiz made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eulalio Indalecio immediately put the ball in play. Berni y Benja FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pastor Tino in the 68th minute. The corner ended in Pastor Tino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Tristan Franquis did a great save. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Bruno Moneda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Moneda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Videl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berni y Benja FC's Kärim Benzine got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amar Bouziane hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When Gavino Hats fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berni y Benja FC's protests and gave Gavino Hats a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Imperio Catatumbo de Lara booed when Berni y Benja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Hats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of Berni y Benja FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Berni y Benja FC may have spent more time on the ball, but Imperio Catatumbo de Lara were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
