Dawid Laskowski started the match with the kick off. Dawid Laskowskis short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Widodo Reza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rexy Waluyo charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rexy Waluyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dawid Laskowski got free with Widodo Reza in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cregan Elong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Original Sabahan's Widodo Reza got control of the ball when Dawid Laskowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Dawid Laskowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Widodo Reza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joko Waluyo in the 29th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Joko Waluyo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Prestes was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Aleksander Kaczucha came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Widodo Reza could save by the left post. Widodo Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawid Laskowski in the 42nd minute of the match. Cregan Elong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonas Prestes having to make a save. Cregan Elong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Prestes having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joko Waluyo to strike the kick off in the second half. Tiago Gabriel Silva was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. After 52 played minutes Szczyglice got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Silva. It was beautiful to see Original Sabahan's Rexy Waluyo in action when he in the 54th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a defensive mix-up in Original Sabahan's zone, Jim Liljeström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Widodo Reza came out of the goal and Jim Liljeström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cregan Elong in the 66th minute of play forced Szczyglice's goalkeeper Jonas Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Penn Cornelius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 71 minutes, Joko Waluyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Original Sabahan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joko Waluyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jim Liljeström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Original Sabahan booed when Szczyglice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beniamin Filanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joko Waluyo, 80 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Joko Waluyo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonas Prestes. That made the score 0-1 in the 84 minute of play. If Marek Cebula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jim Liljeström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Widodo Reza having to interfere.
