Ben Breton might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Widodo Reza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ben Breton ran back to his position shaking his head. Widodo Reza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ben Breton in the 7th minute. In the 12th minute, Ben Breton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Imperio Catatumbo de Lara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Original Sabahan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Ben Breton scored to the left of an out of position Widodo Reza, making the score, 2-0. In the 18th minute, Fery Budikusuma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 20 played minutes Original Sabahan got a freekick which was hit by Kitam Guchi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ben Breton in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Widodo Reza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Original Sabahan's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adrio Sobrido was slow to take the kick. During this time Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's players had a chance to rest. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Original Sabahan! After some careless play in the Original Sabahan defense, Ben Breton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Widodo Reza. The Original Sabahan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Widodo Reza should have stopped the shot. When Penn Cornelius fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Original Sabahan's protests and gave Penn Cornelius a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th match minute, Original Sabahan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Penn Cornelius to maneuver through the defense. Widodo Reza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Breton in the 28th minute of play. Widodo Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Breton in the 32nd minute of the match. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's attentive Helder Jares managed to snatch the ball when Fery Budikusuma made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Ben Breton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Widodo Reza. That made the score 5-0 in the 39 minute of play. Widodo Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Breton in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Ben Breton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Widodo Reza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ben Breton made a kick off. Widodo Reza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Breton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Original Sabahan defense, Ben Breton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Widodo Reza. The Original Sabahan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Widodo Reza should have stopped the shot. Widodo Reza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincent Kanczuszewski in the 74th minute of play. In the 77thth minute of the game Anastasios Machlas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Original Sabahan's Widodo Reza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Widodo Reza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amar Bouziane in the 79th minute of play. Joko Waluyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Tristan Franquis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Senio Opazo notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Original Sabahan's Widodo Reza. Widodo Reza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Senio Opazo in the 87th minute of play forced Original Sabahan's goalkeeper Widodo Reza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Senio Opazo in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Widodo Reza saved Original Sabahan from getting behind. If Anastasios Machlas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Anastasios Machlas in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Original Sabahan's goalie prevented a goal. Original Sabahan's Widodo Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amar Bouziane in the 96th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Original Sabahan's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasios Machlas came free, but Widodo Reza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara had played much better football throughout.
