He was immediately shown a red card. 38 minutes into the game, one of Chuba Chubba Akpom:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 43 played minutes Hincha Pelotas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Larrategui. In the 45th minute, Sakarias Ahlström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Hincha Pelotas FC booed when Chuba Chubba Akpom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chuba Chubba Akpom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valentine Corias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6.
