Beto dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Chong Sen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romelu Lukaku in the 6th minute of play forced Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Vicente Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Palloketut's Voitto Nyrhinen got a free kick in the 6th minute. Palloketut's Yan Chong Sen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto dos Santos in the 7th minute of play. Romelu Lukaku took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Barbosa. Vicente Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Beto dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 14 in the game by Beto dos Santos from a close distance when the talented Yan Chong Sen managed to make a qualified save. Palloketut's players were relieved. Galo do Cerrado's Vicente Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romelu Lukaku in the 16th minute of play. Marcus Hjelm hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Galo do Cerrado's Beto dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Galo do Cerrado defense, Romelu Lukaku kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Barbosa. The Galo do Cerrado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Barbosa should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute of the match Palloketut got a corner. Galo do Cerrado's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tommi Kangasmäki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Rikhard Elomo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galo do Cerrado's Vicente Barbosa did a great save. Vicente Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romelu Lukaku in the 38th minute of the match. With his leg Yan Chong Sen managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Galo do Cerrado's Beto dos Santos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Beto dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romelu Lukaku hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Romelu Lukaku got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th match minute, Galo do Cerrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Richard to maneuver through the defense. Heino Helkamo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beto dos Santos was the one to do the kick off. Yan Chong Sen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Beto dos Santos went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Yan Chong Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Galo do Cerrado getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Almantas Plungys hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Sebastian Drewitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Chong Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Voitto Nyrhinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Vicente Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Voitto Nyrhinen in the 61st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Voitto Nyrhinen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palloketut's supporters rose to their feet, but Voitto Nyrhinen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rikhard Elomo might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rikhard Elomo ran back to his position shaking his head. Galo do Cerrado made a substitution. Jean-Yves Amand replaced Wesley Richard. Vicente Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romelu Lukaku in the 70th minute. Yan Chong Sen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Yan Chong Sen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beto dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Beto dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yan Chong Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Peli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Galo do Cerrado's goalkeeper Vicente Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romelu Lukaku. Vicente Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romelu Lukaku went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Voitto Nyrhinen charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Voitto Nyrhinen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Voitto Nyrhinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Voitto Nyrhinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Vicente Barbosa made a huge save. Vicente Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romelu Lukaku's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Palloketut eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
