A hard shot 23 in the game by Adan Hustaz from a close distance when the talented Lukasz Traczewski managed to make a qualified save. Modlau's players were relieved. Marcelo Louis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Borcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Santos Rafe's late challenge caught a Modlau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Louis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Urki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukasz Traczewski having to interfere. In the 41st minute Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Louis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albino Cruz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lukasz Traczewski. Modlau's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcelo Louis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walery Rekawiczka went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Rafe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Potrero's goalkeeper Marcelo Louis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zlatin Ibrahimović in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Louis saved C. A. Potrero from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Modlau's Marcelo Louis threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zlatin Ibrahimović, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Potrero's zone, Walery Rekawiczka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Louis came out of the goal and Walery Rekawiczka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Modlau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 77th match minute, Modlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima to maneuver through the defense. Adan Hustaz struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Lukasz Traczewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Potrero. 81 minutes into the game, Zlatin Ibrahimović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcelo Louis. Zlatin Ibrahimović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelo Louis came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronaldo-Luís Nazário De Lima slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 84th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Modlau's Zlatin Ibrahimović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Louis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Marcelo Louis made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Zlatin Ibrahimović sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Modlau left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C. A. Potrero.
