When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Bruno Baristo sped through Lapachito's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Faustino Iago. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Tiso in the 40th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Benicio Senen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bruno Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Herminio Erruki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes Lapachito got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Corderall. Faustino Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Baristo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some careless play in the Lapachito defense, Bruno Baristo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustino Iago. The Lapachito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustino Iago should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Bruno Baristo sped through Lapachito's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Faustino Iago. After 73 minutes, Maximiliano Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC FUSION and the Lapachito players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute Bruno Baristo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AFC FUSION were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Lapachito's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bruno Baristo took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Leonel Gonsalve advanced and headed the ball into goal, 8-0 in the 90th minute. When Severino Cibran fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC FUSION's protests and gave Severino Cibran a yellow card for diving instead. Severino Cibran hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lapachito booed when AFC FUSION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Baristo didn't get a good kick on the ball. AFC FUSION walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
