When Manuel Șora fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF- Barca de Buzau's protests and gave Manuel Șora a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Șora to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Mineiro came free, but Emanuel Stanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Benedito Mineiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Emanuel Stanca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 12 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Célio Vianna. In the 13th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Pedrinho Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Șora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedito Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Emanuel Stanca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Emanuel Movileanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedrinho Guimarães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Darius Olaru hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Șora in the 30th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Pedrinho Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Grigore Biriș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match Anísio Alagoano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Stanca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Grigore Biriș kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Umberto Dionísio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Emanuel Stanca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Basarab Achimescu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Șora to make the kick off. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Nilson Veloso hit a great ball. Pedrinho Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Șora in the 57th minute of play. A collision led to -BZF- Barca de Buzau getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gheorghe Crăiniceanu hit a great ball. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Liviu Răuţă was substituted for Felix Vorniceanu. 72 minutes into the match, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goal looked a bit too open when Anísio Alagoano came free, but Emanuel Stanca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darius Olaru was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Darius Olaru hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Umberto Dionísio scored 3-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Stanca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Stanca came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's Mauro Sarmento. But to his dismay, Mauro Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 91st match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Movileanu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in -BZF- Barca de Buzau's zone, Magno Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Stanca came out of the goal and Magno Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Castanheiro SC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of -BZF- Barca de Buzau for a fine match.
