A collision led to United.SF getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Leonardo Theobald hit a great ball. Faustino Vermudo came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's Benedito Mineiro. But to his dismay, Benedito Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anísio Alagoano in the 12th minute of play forced United.SF's goalkeeper Faustino Vermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes United.SF got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Chico. After 13 played minutes, Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Faustino Vermudo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Castanheiro SC reached it. Castanheiro SC's Mauro Sarmento suffered a sprained foot after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Edelmiro Chico charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edelmiro Chico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edelmiro Chico kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Umberto Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedito Mineiro scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustino Vermudo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Faustino Vermudo came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's Benedito Mineiro. But to his dismay, Benedito Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Faustino Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Castanheiro SC's Benedito Mineiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustino Vermudo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After recieving a nice pass, Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The United.SF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Castanheiro SC were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Tobias Montez made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Umberto Dionísio made a precise shot to the right of Faustino Vermudo. United.SF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Faustino Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Mineiro in the 58th minute of the match. With a little luck, United.SF's Faustino Vermudo got control of the ball when Umberto Dionísio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute, Benedito Mineiro made a precise shot to the right of Faustino Vermudo. United.SF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. In the 73rd minute, Anísio Alagoano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustino Vermudo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Magno Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustino Vermudo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Castanheiro SC booed when United.SF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Theobald didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 minutes, Umberto Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castanheiro SC and the United.SF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of United.SF booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Anísio Alagoano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustino Vermudo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. United.SF's Faustino Vermudo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save United.SF from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, United.SF's Leonardo Theobald got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Faustino Vermudo but with some difficulty. In the 96th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisinho Seco to maneuver through the defense. Castanheiro SC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
