In the 7th minute, Aurelian Acalinei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Acalinei came free, but Sergiu Rădescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lucian Poplăcan fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Armada's protests and gave Lucian Poplăcan a yellow card for diving instead. Lucian Poplăcan hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 29 played minutes Fabian Verzea rounded Armada's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nistor Chifu during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eugen Perișoară was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 38th minute Octavian Cristian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Hortopan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Perișoară to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelian Acalinei made a kick off. Armada's Sergiu Rădescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Verzea in the 52nd minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Armada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Mudura to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Octavian Cristian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octav Hortopan. -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Octavian Cristian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 73 minutes into the match, Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelian Acalinei came free, but Sergiu Rădescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for -BZF- Fc Gheraseni! The score was 1-2 after a penalty in the 78th minute, where Armada:s Maxim Huștiu tricked -BZF- Fc Gheraseni:s Octav Hortopan with a difficult ball by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Panaitescu in the 86th minute of play forced -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalkeeper Octav Hortopan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Aurelian Acalinei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergiu Rădescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Fabian Verzea notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Armada's Sergiu Rădescu. Sergiu Rădescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
