The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Severino Huly hit a great ball. Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelayo Segura in the 9th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Herauso Sarro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 13th minute Artemio Jaunti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cugat Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Herauso Sarro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mandrake fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th minute, Pelayo Segura made a precise shot to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Melquiades Salvatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herauso Sarro in the 23rd minute of the match. Cugat Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Jaunti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tulio Saura scored 0-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Salvatore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amancio Tarin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 30 minutes into the match. After 30 played minutes Mandrake fc got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Tarin. Donato Nalo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cugat Lara. Mandrake fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 32 played minutes Mandrake fc got a freekick which was hit by Herauso Sarro. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Sarracino got free with Cugat Lara in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Anselmo Sarracino got a free kick in the 38th minute. Melquiades Salvatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herauso Sarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Mandrake fc's Cugat Lara got control of the ball when Bonifacio Cresconio tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifacio Cresconio was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pelayo Segura was slow to take the kick. During this time Mandrake fc's players had a chance to rest. Berdaitz Valcarcel made a great header on Mandrake fc's corner, it was just that Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 53rd minute, Mandrake fc's Berdaitz Valcarcel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Herauso Sarro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Melquiades Salvatore made a huge save. In the 62nd match minute, Mandrake fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Naranjo to maneuver through the defense. Cugat Lara came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Atlanta's Severino Huly. But to his dismay, Severino Huly quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Melquiades Salvatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herauso Sarro went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Donato Nalo hit a great ball. Mandrake fc's Herauso Sarro got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Cresconio in the 88th minute of play forced Mandrake fc's goalkeeper Cugat Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Tulio Saura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mandrake fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. Club Atlético Atlanta made a substitution. Hugo Jerrold replaced Anselmo Sarracino. Tulio Saura hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match Donato Nalo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cugat Lara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tulio Saura kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Severino Huly notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Mandrake fc's Cugat Lara. Cugat Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Mandrake fc players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
