With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedito Mineiro in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Salvatore saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Aquiles Oihenarte kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Benedito Mineiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Melquiades Salvatore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Melquiades Salvatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benedito Mineiro went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, Anísio Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anísio Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Melquiades Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Alagoano in the 21st minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melquiades Salvatore was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Dionísio in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Pereira in the 28th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Umberto Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bonifacio Cresconio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Sarracino to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melquiades Salvatore. That made the score 0-8 after 53 minutes of play. In the 58th minute, Umberto Dionísio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Salvatore was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Umberto Dionísio took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-10. 68 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umberto Dionísio. Melquiades Salvatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anísio Alagoano went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. Célio Vianna hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Castanheiro SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
