After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Tobias Montez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Salvatore should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute Efrain Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Huly came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cesar Cloyo could save by the left post. In the 14th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Nalo to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Efrain Lordi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. Tobias Montez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Salvatore having to interfere. Ovidio Geleberto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melquiades Salvatore. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match United.SF got a corner. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Danilo Esquipula ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Victorio Lizer drilling the ball in to score 0-3 behind Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper. In the 33rd minute, Pedro Rojelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Danilo Esquipula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Bonifacio Cresconio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Montez to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bonifacio Cresconio in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Cloyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind United.SF's goalkeeper Cesar Cloyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute Severino Huly shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Cloyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes, Club Atlético Atlanta's Donato Nalo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cesar Cloyo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Atlético Atlanta reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Sarracino in the 93rd minute of play forced United.SF's goalkeeper Cesar Cloyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. United.SF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
