Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Armada's Dorin Mereuță started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Filimon in the 2nd minute of play forced Armada's goalkeeper Sergiu Rădescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 3rd minute -BZF- Fc Gheraseni were awarded a corner. Corneliu Sântimbrean went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 10th match minute, Armada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Chifu to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Armada defense, Corneliu Sântimbrean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergiu Rădescu. The Armada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergiu Rădescu should have stopped the shot. In the 19th match minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Ghimiș to maneuver through the defense. Octav Hortopan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cazimir Stoleru's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 30th minute, Dorin Mereuță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Grigore Purje got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Armada's Nichifor Logofătu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's Octav Hortopan got control of the ball when Cazimir Stoleru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cazimir Stolerus short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Octav Hortopan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Octav Hortopan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Mereuță in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Cazimir Stoleru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octav Hortopan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Corneliu Sântimbrean made a kick off. Manole Nișu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Sergiu Rădescu was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Aurelian Acalinei capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aurelian Acalinei really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. After 73 minutes, Eugen Perișoară mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Fc Gheraseni and the Armada players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugen Perișoară to maneuver through the defense. Octav Hortopan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Logofătu in the 74th minute of play. When Nistor Chifu fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Armada's protests and gave Nistor Chifu a yellow card for diving instead. Nistor Chifu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Armada's Sergiu Rădescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Armada from getting a goal against them. In the 95th match minute, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Nedelcea to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched -BZF- Fc Gheraseni eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
