Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoriano Deunoro got free with Arnout Reekers in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Johannes Uijtterhoven, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Johannes Uijtterhoven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. In the 32nd match minute, Malvinas Argentinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Deunoro to maneuver through the defense. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián-Carlos Czornomaz in the 51st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johannes Uijtterhoven read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Johannes Uijtterhoven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 61st minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Wim Wilmes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johannes Uijtterhoven having to make a save. In the 76th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Uijtterhoven was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 81 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Johannes Uijtterhoven narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Malvinas Argentinas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Wim Wilmes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The crowd rose to their feet as Wim Wilmes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johannes Uijtterhoven. That made the score 0-2 in the 86 minute of play. Johannes Uijtterhoven was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Gijsbert ter Kruimer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
