Fadıl Subutay was a little too slow when Metod Mlynar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 85th minute, Metod Mlynar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Slovakia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Oliver Holub didn't get a good kick on the ball. kaya Özkut took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henrich Slany. Slovakia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
