The audience was convinced that Mehmet Fatih Bedük's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. With a little luck, Kdz.Ereğli SPOR's Demetrio Magliocco got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Demetrio Magliocco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Demetrio Magliocco. Kdz.Ereğli SPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Demetrio Magliocco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 91st minute. The Kdz.Ereğli SPOR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
