Makis Giannakoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Makis Giannakoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 20th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Willis to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Vlassis Ferekidis led 21 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. England's Khalid Kennedy became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. Elija Pujana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Khalid Kennedy made a huge save. Makis Giannakoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Micah Macdonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Matia in the 30th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Omar Matia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, England's Khalid Kennedy got control of the ball when Elija Pujana tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Omar Matia sped through England's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Khalid Kennedy. Jesper Björkdahl kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Micah Macdonald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. England's supporters crossed their fingers, but Micah Macdonald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Đorđević was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstantinos Vasilomichelakis to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Cox was the one to do the kick off. Đorđević's Makis Giannakoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caelan Hayes in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Elija Pujana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Khalid Kennedy was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vlassis Ferekidis fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Đorđević's protests and gave Vlassis Ferekidis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Vlassis Ferekidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Khalid Kennedy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Pagopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Đorđević's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vlassis Ferekidis in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Freddy Joanes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Issac Dawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Leighton Davies in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Đorđević's Giorgos Pagopoulos. In the 93rd match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micah Macdonald to maneuver through the defense. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Đorđević were victorious despite being under pressure from England for much of the match.
