If Ali Orhan Ortunc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute, Mehmet Bedri Afacan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Aesir FC FSCMZ's Duda Soeiro didn't even have to move. Frédson da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomás Motta in the 38th minute of play forced F.C. KASABALI 45's goalkeeper Şimşek Eke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duda Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakan Şükür in the 41st minute of the match. Şimşek Eke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Motta in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, F.C. KASABALI 45's goal looked a bit too open when Frédson da Cunha came free, but Şimşek Eke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Hakan Şükür made the kick off in the second half. Frédson da Cunha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Şimşek Eke made a huge save. Thomás Motta came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Şimşek Eke could save by the left post. 53 minutes into the match, Délio Araújo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of F.C. KASABALI 45's Şimşek Eke. Şimşek Eke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nuno Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Nestor Varela took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Şimşek Eke. F.C. KASABALI 45's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Frédson da Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aesir FC FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With a little luck, F.C. KASABALI 45's Şimşek Eke got control of the ball when Thomás Motta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 90 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Délio Araújo. Mehmet Bedri Afacan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Duda Soeiro. Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomás Motta got free with Şimşek Eke in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Aesir FC FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Aesir FC FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
